Sofia Pistrila

Certified Holistic Nutritionist

In my practice my main focus is to educate people about the negative effects of stress and ways to deal with it. Through customized diet, life style changes and intervention at energetic level, I help my clients to blossom to their full potential.

I am a Certified Nutritionist Practitioner and an honours graduate of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, Toronto, Canada. For the past 10 years have been an avid learner and had the fortune of having amazing mentors while studying numerous functional medical courses.

For the past 12 years I have been practicing in private clinical setting. For the past 10 years as a faculty member of The Institute on Holistic Nutrition have been teaching and mentoring over 2,500 students and future nutritionists. I am currently teaching the Advanced Nutritional Symptomatology course.

In my quest to help people to attain their true balance of mind, body and spirit, I incorporate in my practice several other modalities like Energy Medicine, Reiki, Reflexology and Pilates. I am also using energetic testing with an EAV equipment.

My working experience started in Romania after graduating with a Masters degree in Science from “Traian Vuia” University, Romania and continued in Canada shortly after. My 18 years experience of the industrial and corporate world gave me the understanding of the importance of harmony between work and personal time in one’s life. My own experience with debilitating health problems resulting from working in a high stress environment ignited my interest in holistic healing. What started as a personal necessity, ended up being a passion to help others.

In my practice my main focus is to educate people about the negative effects of stress and ways to deal with it. Through customized diet, life style changes and intervention at energetic level, I help my clients to blossom to their full potential.

I share my own healing journey and knowledge with clients and the public through one-to-one consultations, courses, small group seminars, workshops, community centers presentations and community newspapers.
